ABOUT FIFE MX

Fife MX Training & Racing is a family‑owned motocross coaching program built on a passion for helping riders grow—both on and off the track. Our family lives and breathes motocross. JD leads coaching, while behind the scenes we work together to support every rider who comes through our program. Our kids—Kenzie, Zane, and Wyatt—all ride and race, making motocross a true family lifestyle.

Fife MX is also deeply connected to our extended moto‑family. Friends like Josh Grenz, manager of Pomeroy Memorial Motocross Track, and Keith Batterson, former pro racer and owner of Battland MX Complex, have played meaningful roles in helping Fife MX grow. This community is part of who we are, and part of the experience we bring to every rider.

Fife MX was built on genuine experience, real relationships, and a lifelong love for motocross. Our mission is simple: help riders develop confidence, safe habits, strong fundamentals, and a lasting passion for the sport.

MEET JD FIFE

JD grew up around dirt bikes and has been obsessed with motocross his entire life. He spent years riding with friends, learning the sport, and following motocross and SMX closely. As he got older, he was constantly surrounded by riders and families in the motocross community, and his natural eye for detail made him the person people turned to for guidance long before Fife MX existed.

At local tracks, JD often found himself helping friends, their kids, and other riders who asked for advice. Coaching came naturally to him—not because he set out to become a trainer, but because he genuinely cared about helping riders improve and stay safe.

When JD’s son, Zane, got his first dirt bike at three years old, everything clicked. JD began coaching Zane and continued helping family friends’ kids learn how to ride and race. Over the years, those riders—including Zane—have grown into confident, skilled racers with strong fundamentals and a deep love for the sport.

With encouragement from family, friends, and the motocross community, JD took the leap and turned his passion and natural coaching ability into something bigger. That’s how Fife MX became a reality.
